Zero and Sakura spent the net few days together, each getting to know one another. He seemed willing to help everyone, and Sakura admired that. He was easy to talk to, but always had some very good points to his conversations. To him she seemed very absorbent of ideas and methods of thinking. He could explain many things he knew to her without confusing her entirely. And when he heard about the dance, he began to wonder what she thought about it...

"So, this Zero guy, you think'in of taking him to the dance?" Ino asked Sakura over ramen. Sakura blushes slightly as she nodded, thinking about the dance, and Zero, and everything else. She felt overwhelmed.
"Have you asked him yet?" Ino asked.
"Not yet..." Sakura replied, which prompted a whack from Ino.
"Hurry then! The dance is tomorrow!"Ino nearly screamed, and Sakura nodded.
"I'll ask him tonight." She said.
"Ask who what?" Zero said, walking up behind them. Sakura nearly jumped out of her seat, and she looked between him and Ino. Ino looked at her impatiently and motioned with her head towards Zero.
"Umm, Zero... Do think you could... Go to the dance with me?" Sakura asked.
"Sure... But I'm not too good at dancing..." Zero said, slightly nervous about this. Sakura just smiled.
"Don't worry. All you have to do is follow my lead." She said, more confidant now, and zero smiled also. He couldn't help it. Her good moods were contagious.

Soon the two were back home, each making mental plans for the dance.
'Pink, gotta wear pink.' Sakura thought, and found her best dress and got it ready for tomorrow.
'One twothree One twothree One twothree' Zero thought, remembering the various dances stored in his memory banks, practicing before a mirror. Each went to sleep grudingly, hoping tomorrow would come faster.
